AION 2 Class Rankings — Read This Before Maining Anything
Why tier lists disagree
Search 'AION 2 tier list' and you'll find IGN, Mobalytics, Game8 and PlayerAuctions ranking the same eight classes differently. That's not sloppiness — the answer genuinely depends on the question:
- PvE group value favors supports: Cleric, Chanter and (per some lists) Templar anchor every party.
- PvP dominance favors lockdown: Gladiator, Ranger and Assassin control fights.
- Solo dailies favor self-sufficient damage with sustain.

How to actually choose
Pick by what you'll do most: group dungeons → Cleric/Chanter; open-world PvP → Gladiator/Ranger/Assassin; efficient solo dailies → Gladiator or Sorcerer. A tier list should eliminate classes you'd hate, not pick your main for you.
