Spiritmaster in one paragraph
Spiritmaster is AION 2's pet class — mid-table in most rankings (B+/A-) but with a loyal following for a reason: your pet tanks, you damage from safety, and solo play is relaxed to the point of feeling afk. Group demand is niche but real; leveling comfort is the best in the game.
Strengths & costs
- Strengths — pet does the dangerous work, excellent solo sustain, damage-over-time pressure.
- Costs — lower burst than Sorcerer, fewer group slots than true supports, pet management is its own skill.
Gearing framework
- Primary line — magic damage over time; survival stats matter less while the pet holds aggro.
- Leveling — arguably the smoothest leveling of all eight classes.
- Endgame — damage set; check whether your pet scales from your stats each patch before investing.
Pet discipline
The skill expression is pet control: which summon for which content, when to recall and re-position, and managing threat so the pet — not you — eats the hits. Masters of this are quietly among the best solo farmers in the game (see the cube routes — a tanking pet makes solo sweeps trivial).
