AION 2 Kinah Farming: the Daily-Loop Method
Why Kinah matters more at launch
Every MMO economy is most exploitable — and most punishing — in its first weeks. Prices swing daily, early gold compounds into gear advantages, and the players who treat Kinah income as a daily system rather than a when-needed grind end the launch window visibly ahead.
The four honest income streams
- Daily quest chains — the boring backbone: stable, repeatable, stackable with leveling (daily checklist). This is 80% of sane Kinah income.
- Dungeon runs — drops plus clear rewards; your entry currencies are already capped, so this is free income if you weren't going to waste them (the #1 waste).
- Gathering & crafting — materials sell to levelers; supply everyone rushing 40–44 and the 1–45 grind.
- Marketplace flipping — real margins exist during price chaos, but this is the only stream that can go negative. Play it with money you can lose.
The daily Kinah loop
Bolt income onto what you already do, in this order: log in → burn entry currencies (dungeons) → faction + daily chains → sweep cube clusters along the route → list gathering drops before you log off. No dedicated 'farming session' required — that's the entire trick.
Launch-window economy reality
Prices during the first weeks are noise, not signal: a material that doubles in a day can halve the next. Two rules keep you solvent: sell into hype, buy into panic, and never park your net worth in inventory you're speculating on — keep the majority in Kinah until prices settle.
Three Kinah mistakes
- Spending big on leveling gear — pre-endgame gear is a rental; main-stat upgrades only.
- Skipping dailies to 'farm efficiently' — the stable income beats the heroic session, every week.
- Speculating with your entire wallet — flipping works with risk capital, not rent money.
