AION 2 Halloween Event: the Pumpkin Coin Guide
What the Halloween event is
AION 2's first global Halloween event runs from October 14 to November 4, 2026 — starting just nine days after the game's global launch. It's a login-plus-play event: show up daily, collect Pumpkin Coins, and spend them in the Event Coin Shop on skins and rewards before the window closes.
How Pumpkin Coins work
- The login track — a 14-day login streak pays out Pumpkin Coins; the event window is slightly longer than the track, so you have a couple of catch-up days.
- Per-character earning — the community has confirmed coins are earned per character, not per account. Players running multiple characters report roughly 2 coins per character per day, which turns an alt army into a meaningful multiplier.
- Play-earned extras — Candy Keys drop from event activity and feed the same reward loop.
What to buy first (priority framework)
The Event Coin Shop rotates cosmetics and practical rewards. Patch cycles change exact stock, so check the in-game shop for the authoritative list — but the priority logic is stable:
- Limited-time skins you actually like — they leave when the event ends; everything else usually has a permanent path.
- Account-wide conveniences — anything that applies to all characters beats per-character items if you run alts.
- Consumables last — they're replaceable through normal play.
Your three-week plan
The event is a marathon of small logins, not a grind sprint:
- Week 1 — start the login track immediately; every day missed is coins gone. Sweep event dailies into your existing daily routine, not as separate sessions.
- Week 2 — if you have alts, run them through the cheap per-character earn; this is where the multiplier lives.
- Final week — spend everything before November 4. Assume unspent coins do not carry over unless the in-game notice explicitly says otherwise.
Three mistakes that cost coins
- Skipping 'just one day' — the track is strict; one missed day is usually one tier of rewards.
- Hoarding until the end — waiting to 'decide later' is how players log in on November 5 with a wallet full of dead coins.
- Ignoring alts entirely — the per-character earn is the difference between one skin and several.
